Places to visit

Aubusson, (la Terrade quarter), House of the carpet-maker (Maison du tapissier) where you can see how carpets were made in the traditional methods used in the 16th and 17th centuries. Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO)
Boussac. The castle (The Lady and the Unicorn tapestry) and market
Château Villemonteix near Chenerailles
The Yellow Stones (Pierres jaunatres). Enormous blocks of granite scattered dramatically on the summit of Mont Barlot offering wonderful views
Limoges. Famous for its porcelain and enamelware
Masgot. Known as the "sculpture village", visit here and follow the trail around the village and admire the granite sculptures which adorn the village houses.
